Hi! This is Terra. I've always loved my Native heritage, and was wondering if there were other Native Americans, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians/Pacific Islander, First Nations, or Aboriginals from anywhere here? I always love learning about other cultures (I'll always chat about my culture with you, even if you are not Native, totally happy to discuss things) :D

Idk if I have any right to consider myself any part native since I only have 2.5% and I certainly personally wouldn't out of respect since I was never raised heavily in the culture and my overall cultural history is kind of a huge mess and mostly been lost anyways. (Irish/German/Scandinavian/English/African/Portuguese)

According to my grandmother my great grandfather was half Cherokee and lived on a reservation for a while though no one really got to know his history back since apparently he became alcoholic later in life.
I was however taken in as a baby by another side of my family that is much more strongly Cherokee & Navajo (on my adoptive aunt's side)
I've been out to a few reservations of both Cherokee and Navajo as a kid to try to learn about the cultures and I found really interesting but I can't say I've been back to any as an adult (even though I live in New Mexico now and I'm surrounded by Navajo folks XD)

I find the languages especially really interesting and would love to try to learn Navajo sometime.

I'm part of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians :3c Well, on paper anyway. We live in Florida, so I've only been able to visit the reservation in Michigan once. However I've been to the Seminole reservation down in Okeehobee a few times. But I know my great grandfather and mother on my fathers side (and his mothers parents) lived on the reservation.
