I got maxed out at 21 eggs. Finished just now:
Timestamp of eggs 21 and 22:
Both eggs showed up as egg 21: (I realize these screenshots unfortunately don't give much info)

Since 20 is all that is needed for the Title from the Egg Hunt, it only keeps track up to 20. The reason it displays 21 is because of how it does the math (adds 1 to the #).
So basically, it starts at 20 and counts down as you find an Egg. Once it hits 0, it just stops counting and is maxed out. But the text display will just tack on the "+1".
