A dump thread of sorts for future designs, looking for constructive criticism :)

If you would like to offer criticism, using this form will help me out

Design Name:

Overall Rating (out of 10):

I would prefer critism on the colors and overall look, not on the names I slapped on them.

Midsummer Night (Summer Festival)

Clouded Sunset (Summer Festival)

Glimmering Koi (Summer Festival)

Neapolitan (Summer Festival)

Design name: Midsummer Night
Criticism: The name instantly calls to mind the play, and I'm wondering if more purples or greens could be used instead of the pink to imply magic more. I do like the muted navy base though! it looks lovely with almost all of the traits, but tri-toned bengal is a little funky.
Rating: 8/10!

Design name: Clouded sun
Criticism: I feel like the name gives a little bit of the wrong idea. I assume you were going for clouded sunset idea, but just throwing out clouded sun implies more midday, so light blues, pale yellows, and grays would be better if that was the case. For a clouded sunset, i would say the pink is a little vibrant, and maybe something like BF265C would be better in the G1 slot. I love the concept though, and the use of oranges is very pretty!
Rating: 6/10

Design name: Glimmering Koi
Criticism: The colors perfectly capture the idea of koi fish! I love the use of blue, as it implies water surrounding it. The only thing I have to add is that it might look good with a more red orange somewhere, maybe the eye color or the M1 slot, since koi typically have more than one shade of orange.
Rating: 10/10! I love them!!!

Design Name: Midsummer Night
Criticism: It's pretty nice! However, the colors don't stick with me. Too bland..
Overall Rating (out of 10): 9

Design Name: Clouded Sun
Criticism: Zolnixies are extremely overrated, and this doesn't say Clouded Sun to me! It's more "sunset" than "clouded sun".
Overall Rating (out of 10): 4

Design Name: Glimmering Koi
Criticism: Pretty nice! However, the blue doesn't sit with me.
Overall Rating (out of 10): 7.8, too much water.

Thank you both. It is interesting to see different points of view (one loves the blue, one does not)

Here's one based on Dragonhearted by Tryhardninja.

Finally, one based on the Forbidden City!

References incoming! Swap critique for critique?

This thread is mostly for my upcoming designs, not critiquing other designs :)
