So, I've been working on a book that's based on a like five-second dream I had. It was basically cats that were brought to an unknown world, where the space ship crashed. The cats managed to survive and had been given something to make them able to speak. They live in a cave that only has one entrance that's underwater, like a beaver den. They discover wyvern-like creatures that, when they hatch, can 'imprint' on another wyvern-like creature or a cat. when they imprint, they form a bond with whatever they imprint on. The wyvern like creatures could be any color of the rainbow, and all of them had some pink on them. Then there are mice, birds, and other small prey creatures. Currently, I only have some characters and a prologue done, so here goes.
Prolouge
The brown tom swam quickly into the cave and crawled onto the shore. Another cat, not far away, called to him, "Eagle, come quick! Golden's kitting!" Eagle ran as fast as he could to the cave where his and his mate's den was, calling back to the cat, "Thank you, Steam!" He ran in just after Golden had finished giving birth to their kits. He smiled at her, laying next to her and smiling at their kits. He looked at the kit with the apricot head and dark tail tip. He thought of the prophecy he had received the night before and repeated it in his brain. An apricot tree may find what you need..* He wondered if this kit would be the 'apricot tree' that finds what the small group of cats needed.

Main storyline:
The main character finds the wyverns and manages to get them to protect the cats from the oncoming threat, which I still need to figure out.
characters and their descriptions:
Apricot- the kit that Eagle thinks might be the 'apricot tree.' She has an apricot-colored head and neck, with a light brown body, legs, and tail; and a dark brown tail tip and paws. She has slightly sea-green amber eyes. She is usually cheerful, but when she gets mad, she gets MAD. She is hyper and sometimes unpredictable. She is shy to cats she doesn't know.
Snow- She is Apricot and Bark's younger sister, although from the same litter as Apricot. She is fully white with sea-green eyes with dots of amber. She is very outgoing, and basically the opposite of Apricot when it comes to personality. She is smart when it comes to resolving arguments between the group of cats. She can be hyper when she's excited, but is usually calmly outgoing.
Bark- Apricots older brother, from their parent's first litter, which was only him. he is fully light brown with streaks of dark brown all along his body and one amber eye and one sea-green eye. He is more reclusive and introverted, preferring to patrol or hunt over socializing. He is very kind to his siblings and parents, and his few friends.
Eagle- The leader of the group of cats, a strong and fluffy light brown tom whose head is white like a bald eagle. He has sea-green eyes and an apricot tail. Father of Apricot, Bark, and Snow. He is very stern and seems angry or frustrated all the time, but really just wants the best for his family and the cats he is leading. He has a kind of secret soft spot for his family
Golden- The healer of the group of cats, a small, motherly, golden she with amber eyes. Mother of Apricot, Bark, and Snow. She is kind and loving, but can be stern when it comes to what cats need to do
Steam- The deputy of Eagle, he is a light gray tom with deep green eyes. He is reclusive, but does his duties well and is very good at making decisions. He can be disagreeable.
Cloud- a fully white she with green-gray eyes. She knows herbs in case Golden isn't around when a cat gets hurt. She is a quiet, calm cat who usually stays away from arguments.
Tree- a dark brown tom who often gets into trouble. He is rowdy and excitable, but can be smart and cunning when it comes to getting what he wants.
Shadow- A jet black she with bright yellow eyes. She gets embarrassed easily and is obviously pansexual or lesbian or something but overall is caring and outgoing.
Emerald- A tan or cream tom with emerald green eyes. He is sometimes shy, but when he's with his friends he's very outgoing and social. He likes imagining things out of the tales of the past.
Charlie- A kind of weird cream tom with bright blue eyes. He used to be called Cream, but took the name Charlie instead when he got older. He is very social but can be a little too social. He loves hanging out with his friends and imagining things with Emerald.
