I bought a genetic mutator and used it on this pet http://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=420167
But he hasn't gotten any new genes or mutations. I think a gene colour might have changed, but the description of the item is that a gene or mutation (visible or carried) would show up.
Is this a glitch? Or is the description wrong?

A genetic mutator can add either a visible or a carried trait, and since your pet has not been genetically tested, it must have gained a carried trait. You can see which trait it gained by getting it tested.
