The Strange, Unusual, and Unnatural SIGN UPS

Once, a very long time ago, everything was the same. No personalities, no styles, no nothing. All the same. Until, a child was born with a mutation. She was different from the rest. When the leaders of this world discovered this, they quickly locked her away to rot. But they couldn't prevent the mutations, so whenever one was born, they were locked away from the world. But, in the recent decades, a few were able to slip from the grasps of the government. You are one of the few mutants who got away.

Backstory: As a mutant she was hidden by her parents. Her parents loved and cared about her. When she turged 18 she went out into the world by herself. Secretive with most people, she gets asked a lot why she has blue hair. Though it is the color she was born with, she said she dyed it. She only uses her mutation when she's in her apartment and knows she's alone.
Abilities: Can control water, breathe underwater, and sometimes talk to underwater creatures
Weapon: Silver dagger
Personality: Kind, sarcastic, caring, smart, loyal, trustworthy, sometimes annoying
Love Interest: Open, she's bi so go ahead.

Especiaaaally not if I want to sandbox a huge character revision and a cool superpower I found that I want to try.
That being said, I'm not sure how active I'll be if it starts immediately, I'll probably drop in later if that's okay with you. Hope you don't mind me lurking.

Mutation: He can create bladed weapons, barriers, and various tools from smoke.

He has a normally gothic aesthetic and enjoys formalwear. No one really knows what his natural hair color or eye color are as he goes to great lengths to mantain an outlandish appearance through cosmetics.

Backstory: He was left in an orphanage as a young child until he was adopted by a wealthy family as an only child, so it never occurred to him that his birth parents dumped him over him being a mutant. That being said, he didn't discover his strange power for himself until he was 17 and he was pressured into trying a cigarette for the first time. He keeps his power hidden, even from his family, unless his life is in immediate danger or he has great need of it, careful to not inadvertently trip it while feeding his habit of smoking whenever he is stressed.
Abilities: He's pretty good at finding ways to light things on fire. Almost too good. He might be a bit of an arsonist, actually. Ace is also pretty good with a lockpick and breaking into places, not that he'll say why.
Weapons: Do cigarettes count? He mostly just keeps a lot of them and a metal lighter on hand to use in a pinch if he needs to light something on fire. He doesn't mind fighting persay, but he would rather not go out of his way since he's never had a particular reason to and doesn't see the point in making reasons now.
Personality: Ace is pretty straight-laced, witty, and friendly unless someone pushes his buttons. He has a hard time getting angry due to an almost people-pleasing level of patience, looking at most things with curiosity and a sort of burning optimism. Sometimes this can be mistaken as arrogance and naivety, but Ace dislikes any sort of negativity in his life, a bizarre contrast to his bizarre ways of dressing.
Love Interest: Open, he's openly pansexual so have at it.

Once I'm in a roleplay I usually stick around until people stop answering and then I leave. I usually give it two weeks and if nobody responds I'm like, "Well, that's a lost cause."

Yeah same. I normally just make a few roleplays and see which the people like. Bad method, maybe, but I do it anyways
