Scias

"Read this then."
Scias decided to flip him off with a bit of a chuckle.

"We're going to talk over the plan, alright? I'll try to keep you in the loop.
Just.
Chill. Alright?"

Corasi
She rolled her eyes. "Go ahead. I'm listening."

(Okay why did I need to be pinged for basically every post?)

(because we love you
Enough to try to summon you from the death
The ritual has completed
I'll be back on later btw)

Scias
"So, while I was off being waterboarded and everything, I managed to get some information on Umbra's movements. Guy's apparently headed northward towards Rayhull. There is a large central fortress there. It'd be hard to break in, for sure, but if we can intercept him, then we're that much closer to taking the remains of this army of theirs out."

(Ye! Summon the 34! Even though she has to remember to feed her pets which she apparently hasn't done for days. I did it for her today. Your welcome 34.)

Saras had followed, and took note of Zeth and Scias. He realized something was missing from his life.

(I swear my cat eats better than me, he gets aggressive if I forget to feed him so there's literally days i've remembered to feed him but not myself.)

(Come on! Why does everyone take such bad care of themselves?!! Like, no offense anyone, but getting 3 hours of sleep is not something to brag about. It's dangerous to your health if you don't sleep enough. Skipping a meal once in a while is okay, but not all the time. You need to eat to survive. So Xedite, please try to remember to take care of yourself before your pets. After all, if you don't eat, their human won't be there to feed them eventually.)

(I'm well aware I need to but in my case I think it's more an effect of depression and uh.. dodgy parenting. I was always taught to look after others and even punished for trying to care for myself first so even now it's a huge struggle for me to actually, you know, care about myself.

I'm aware that my habits probably damage my health and I get enough reminders of that out of being chronically ill already because not sleeping tends to reactivate symptoms in my case. But I also deal with insomnia because of my depression which sort of feeds that cycle.

I'm definitely doing better than I used to because I was a wreck when I was still in the military and deployed, would be up for like 2 days at a time and maybe eating one of those days because I was so wrapped up in my work. I definitely had people try to intervene to remind me I'm not a robot, lol.

I take it with a bit of humor now, but it's definitely signs to watch in yourself because we live in a society (god) that promotes that kind of workaholic/self-sacrificing behavior as healthy, especially when you become an adult. Breaks and rest are very good and you need them.)

(I didn't mean to bother you about it, but everyone around me is going through stuff like that and then they talk about it like a joke. Sometimes, it's like I'm the only sensible one in my friend group. So I hate to see other people not take enough care of themselves and then talk about it like it's perfectly fine. Not that you did, I've just seen it happen before.)
