green : carried
blue : visible
purple : ressessive
a ressessive gene is a visible with a carried trait beneth it.

if the same trait is shared as carry it will alwais be passed down but you have 50% chance to get it as a visible, otherwise the offspring will have a carry as well

again, if both are the same trait your offspring will have 75% chance to have a visible as well otherwise it will be carried

two blue or visible of the same gene will alwais give an offspring with that perticular gene but if you breed two blues genes that are not the same the dominant gene will appear about 40% of the time alone while about 60% of the time both genes are passed down creating a ressessive the 10% left will belong to the other gene.
here is an exemple with zolnixi :
As you can see, this boy have 2 visible and no carried traits
Gene One: (NN) None
Gene Two: (NN) None
Gene Three: (BB) Digital Runes
Mutation One: (NN) None
Mutation Two: (MM) Steampunk Outfit
Mutation Three: (NN) None
If you breed him to a female with the same trait set then him, the offspring will also have the same traits and that's about all there is to say about that pairing.
But if you breed him with this girl (that would not look good color wise but i want to make it less complicated lol)
G1 Back Stripe will be carried because the male have nothing (NN) in that slot.
G2 nothing to see here
G3 advenced rune is carried but the letter in the parenthesis indicate that it is dominating over digital rune bcause A come before K in the alphabet. So the most likely outcome for that trait slot will be (AK) Advenced Runes but there is a chance the trait may become carried onto the offspring.
M1 will be a carried
M2 Steem punk outfit dominate over flower vines, you will nead quite a few try if you want an offspring of that pair to have a flower vines trait without it being hiden into the carried slot. There is a chance that the visible part of the slot stay empty
M3 50% chances to get it as a carried
outcome exemples :
