its getting rely annoying to have to individually click each bag ,get the reward and wait for it to refresh. I was thinking maybe there could be one button to open them all and just see each reward.

Agreed - and also a button to click to get items of the same kind to stack properly (3 2-bag stacks of mission pouches??? Why????)
I imagine not having the system that way was due to some kind of bug early on which would glitch and not discard bags properly once they were opened, but the site seems really stable right now so I doubt that's still a danger...

You're right that it was a bug before. But among other things on the agenda for the site's development, an "open all items" feature is probably coupled with a revamp of the entire inventory system (like how the forum in it's entirety was revamped, it just took quite awhile), which will probably be in a far-ish future.
It's better to be safe and not have it stack automatically than have a chance to bring the bug back. xD;
