I'm doing a project which I have a current forum for ;)
But I don't know how to price it and how much of a discount I should give for filters and allowing me to breed with people's pets?

With a four vis, maxstat restricted trait, you could probably sell them for around 350k gold. Make sure to make them infertile before selling them.

It really depends. Those who give you prismatic philters deserve 75%-100% off. If they give you prismas I would say 25%-50% percent off. Anyone who gives you pets will be 50%-100% off depending on the number of traits.
Keep in mind that you will want to have three pairs with all visible traits, to avoid the trait from "escaping" and to make sure that you have enough pairs to properly philter.

A few things here, not directly about pricing but just to allow you to save gold during the making of this project.
1. Do not bother with the stats until the traits are all visible on at least 2 compatible pets, you will obviously nead more then that but by then it's preaty mutch garentee to have no escaping traits at the end.
2. To save time, dont breed with 1 vis it isn't worth it, use 2 carried parents if you nead too instead.
3. Be more picky with male then female offspring.
4. Do not genderswap unless absolute necessity.
