I've looked up the maps, like this one: https://krinadon.s-ul.eu/SbF2c5GYQbXCmXMP
But I can't get anywhere. I always see the same mirror - gold with blue jewels. And I'm not seeing anything else change to indicate where the heck I am on the map.
How do I get oriented so I can finally get out of here? I'm so frustrated right now.

Have you looked at the walkthrough? It's probably your best source at the moment.

It's a solid walkthrough if I can start from the beginning, but that doesn't appear to be an option. How do I figure out where I am if I'm already somewhere in the middle?

Found where I went wrong. I kept skipping over the color of the room I was in when the mirror choice came up. Apparently I'm in Emerald. Here's hoping I can get out soon.
