Hi there! I have recently become interested in Dungeons and Dragons. I have the starter kit and holy hecc it's so complicated! I have not given up and I want to learn from someone who knows the game. I would ask one of my IRL friends and family but none of them have experience with the game so I came here!

To put it simply I need someone to teach me DND. Someone to walk me through the game in all aspects so that I can be a dungeon master for my friends and family as well as a player. Is there anyone here who could help me with this?

The only way to really learn d&d is to play it, so I can teach you how to be a player and a DM, I guess the best way to start would be with character creation, do you have one? Or do you want me to help you make one? (Or if youd rather be a dm, I have some characters on standby)

I do not have my own character but I do have quite a few characters that came with the starter kit. So maybe I could use one of those? (I will be available for the rest of the day just so you know ^^)

Yeah, you can use one of those if youd like too, I dont have many plans today either so Ill be here most of the time

Also, do you have dice? If not you can just use an online die roller for this (and let me know which character you use so I can help you with how that works too)

Yes, I have dice. I think I'll use the elf character for this. Haven't set them up all the way though, no name or gender.
