how do custom items work? how do i go about making custom items? where can i find more information on them?

Custom items were custom colored items of the monthly items. Both customs and monthlies are discontinued so theres no new item of either being released.

Normal monthlies are only available once a year at the Black Friday sale. Players are still able to sell copies of their own custom items but you can no longer design your own.
