Not the actual player owners...but like, on whoever originally first had said pet. This way this allows people to infertile max stats who go off to other people and aren't in their said possession anymore. (this would be good for max stats who weren't infertile prior to the stuff being added)

However, I understand some possible dilemma, so maybe the pet could be in their possession for a certain 'X' amount of days before being infertilized, or both people need to be friends with each other (harness the actual use of the 'add friend' button)

Or if the pet has a certain amount of stats or hits said requirement numbers, then the option to infertile them to the original owner becomes available. (to prevent people being trolly and whatnots and infertile every pets). Lets say hmm, above '60s' stats then it becomes available?

since I saw suggestions for using he 'original owner' thing since when pets go to someone, your name is still on it, so we should make it so 'original owners' still have some options to infertile the said pet.

So are you saying that any owner other than the original owner would cause the infertility to kick in, unless said original owner say, clicks that anyone other than on friends list causes infertility?

Which would mean original owner, or friends of original can breed but no anyone else?

We're worried about the devaluing of the max stat market due to anyone and everyone being able to breed max stats in, say, a day.

No, more like original owner can infertile the said pet that they originally owned but no long is an owner of, but they HAVE to have an infertility philter or the exception one.

So I was thinking there could be a dia shop item that you could get to be able to sell fert, like to other breeders. My issues with this would be that people could misuse it, of course. But i think it would be less likely if they had to pay real moneys for it.


Alternatively, a certain amount of "Free" breedings from statted pets that maybe resets every month or costs a good few dias to surpass.

Remember, This is something Krin has tried to address, but there was quite a bit of uproar from the community. It is extremely difficult for him to control.

Not sure why you pinged me, and honestly I have no idea what's going on .__.

I might be misunderstanding, but it sounds like you're suggesting to let players retroactively make a pet they had sold infertile? That sounds... very scammy to me. Like... if someone bought a pet because it was fertile, then suddenly BOOM! Original Owner makes that pet infertile. That... that sounds like a major overstep. Krin has always stated that once someone buys a pet from you, that's it - they own the pet, it's theirs to do with as they want.

That's the very reason infertility kits were pushed for so strongly. So breeders could safely sell their pets without someone mooching off their work.
