That's what I'd do, that way you can breed lots of 4-carries and then breed them against each other. You *can* do it with four 1v pets, it just takes longer. And more than four helps but imo isn't worth it considering the cost of maj frost essences and ices. You do need a minimum of four pets unless you're going to breed to other peoples'.

Edit: And I have a maj vul frost essence I need to make but not keep, if you want. I'm not good at getting both bonuses but I do have an expedient agent set aside.

hmmm I may not need the arctic vul, thank you though :3. I won sw board rank2 last board so I'll be choosing to get a vulnyx essence, also found one from opening regular essence packs, and have 100+ regular catas that I'll be converting to majs haha

36 if you want a specific one, 24 if you just want a random.

I'd go for the random; vul is one of the less popular ones and I'd give pretty good odds on being able to swap. Maybe do an interest check first? And you don't have to buy all four at once, you could do a couple and see if you can swap those first.
