I recently encountered a slyest that I liked and since it was uncommon I had a shot at catching it. I caught it, used up one of my traps, and it said I was successful. Excited, I hurried back to my stables to see that I still had 3/25 sylesties. But in my inventory I now only have one trap. What do I do?

Pets can ran away. In the future, check the battle log after using a trap - it will say what happened.
If the trap was successful, it will provide a link to the new pet's profile page.
