I had an idea, I always hate doing missions because I have to go into each city to start them but can end them going to the mission list, so maybe a good idea would be to create a page that each player has that has all of the missions on it so it's a smidge less all over.
I can see how most people wouldn't have a problem with the way it i, but I get distracted easily so I start going into Esiors, then get sidetracked and never make it to the next city. Lorewise it could be explained as a crossroads where all the cities send postings/job listings??? Just a thought.

I actually like this because I am the same way, I like seeing which missions are there because then I can use my pets most efficiently, I hate keeping tons of 'misison' pets that never actually go on missions, because I also hate going to do one of the higher missions and having my only one or two mission pets of that particular stat already be on a mission...
