Hello! I'm 0possum, a newbie to Sylestia. Last night I spent quite a bit of time designing my first pet, Amara. She's a Zolnixi tied to the light ability! I'm very happy with her, though I probably could have tweaked the colors a little. Also! I chose the name Amara because it means grace, mercy, and kindness. I hope you like her!

She's really pretty! I like the hints of blue, like in the beads, how it matches the eyes. I spent almost an hour designing my starter, I think we all spend a lot of time designing starters tbh. If you're unhappy with the design, there's something called lesser pet dyes available in the scale shop for 1000 scales. Scales can be obtained by nurturing pets. The pet dye can change the color of the pet if you know the hex code for the color (can be found in the generator) I also love the name Amara!

The light element is very useful because it heals the entire team. However, they don't do a lot of damage and can't take a lot of damage. It's extremely useful when you have more than one pet (like me) Light pets use Illusionist gear, or Disciple gear. In late game they use Lightbringer gear (lost grove) Gear boosts their abilities by a lot, so you need to equip it. If you don't have gear, there are people (like me) who are willing to spend time getting you gear for every gear slot.

If you have any questions just ask me, I'm online pretty often.

Thank you so much! All of this information is extremely helpful. How might I nurture pets to obtain scales? Thank you! <3

I only have two slots right now, but I should probably get a third so she can be even more helpful! Thank you!

I do have a question. Does this gear seem alright for Amara?

About Gear
Light pets specialize in magic attacks, agility and intelligence. The first relic is great for a light pet but not the best. The other two relics don't really help your pet. You'll want something that boosts intelligence and agility.
You notice how the purple text is followed by a number? That's the bonus it gives the pet in a specific category. You'll want to use relics that have the highest numbers for intelligence and agility over anything else. Ones that have the same number for all of the options also work but aren't as useful.

About the Third Party
Get the third slot as soon as you can it is the most helpful thing you can do at this stage. It allows you to add a third member to the party. The first slot takes the most damage and does the most damage. The second slot takes the second most and does the second most damage. The third slot does the least damage and takes the least damage. You'll want the light pet in last because it wont get KO'd as quickly.

About Nurturing
click Account, click on hatchery and there's your hatchery. Click on Help Nurture pets. You'll get 10 hatchlings and/or eggs, click one. You'll get something saying "This (egg or hatchling) is (insert something here)" You'll be given some options on what to do, depending on what the egg or hatchling is, you have to click certain ones. I made a list below of what to do.

Eggs
If the egg is cool, warm it
If the egg is warm, cool it.
If the egg is dull, polish it
If the egg is restless, turn it

Hatchlings
if the hatchling is restless, play with it
If the hatchling is hungry, offer it food
If the hatchling is weak, work out with it
If the hatchling is slow, race with it
If the hatchling is derpy, read it a book

If you ever need any more information, feel free to ask. Also what lvl of gear do you need? I can get you some. And also also, what's your favorite species? Just Curious >_>
