Katt and Niverus' Christmas Art Contest
We solemnly swear we're up to Christmas fun. :)
Theme: Christmas in Sylestia (If for any reason you don't wish to do Christmas themed art, we will allow the substitution of 'Winter in Sylestia.')
Interpret this as you wish so long as it clearly represents Sylestia. :)
Contest Deadline: ***January 28th @ 10pm game time.*** Art may be submitted, here in this thread, anytime before this.
Winners to be announced: January 29th (unspecified time)
Judges: Katt, Niverus and one yet to be named. (As soon as we figure out who. XD )
Aspects Being Looked At: We are very interested in seeing the creativity our community can express. So Creativity and Effort are going to be important elements in how we pick the winners. It won't just come down to a particular skill. Show us what you have, everyone! :)
Rules:
1) All art must be created solely by the one entering the contest.
2) Progress must be documented through 2-4 photos that must contain your username and the date alongside your artwork within the photo. (Digital art may work a little differently We're not sure on what we'd require tbh.)
3) Artwork can be done in any visual medium that can be shown on Sylestia. (And documented as listed in rule 2.) This can include drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, digital art, etc.
4) All artwork must be appropriate for Sylestia. (All site rules must be followed.)
5) All artwork must fit the theme. (And must be clearly related to Sylestia.)
6) Please do not ping us with submissions. We promise we'll look through everything when the deadline is reached. :)
7) All artwork must be unique to this contest. No submissions to any other contests, official or otherwise, will be accepted.
* Rules are subject to change if problems are encountered, clarification is needed, etc.
Prizes: 1st Place:1000 Diamonds| Max Stat Team (Tier 1) * | Av Item(s) ** | Choice of Winter Majestic OR Fabled Catalyst | Exceptional Icy Water x1
2nd Place: 500 Diamonds | Max Stat Team (Tier 2) | Av Item(s) | Choice of Winter Fabled Catalyst | Greater Icy Water x1
3rd Place: 250 Diamonds | Max Stat Team (Tier 3) | Av Item(s) | Choice of Winter Fabled Catalyst | Lesser Water x10
Notes on Prizes:
1. Prizes may be altered, but only to be added to in value not detracted from.
2. Honorable Mentions: An honorable mention category of prizes may be added if there are enough entries.
3. Participation Prizes: May be coming. This hasn't been decided upon yet.
* Tiers will be defined eventually. (Sorry for our lack of getting this done in a timely manner)
** Av Items will be defined eventually. ( ^ read above XD)
