Introduction
Many moons ago two young pups were trapped in a snowstorm completely defenseless and without parents for warmth. "Akira....I'm so cold." The tiny white male shivered against his sisters midnight black coat. "I know, I smell an old fox den up ahead, we should be okay there." The two pups slipped into the den where they are protected against the wind. "He won't find us here...we will make our own pack Phantom. Someday we will grow stronger than our father and get pay back for what he did. Someday......"
Pack Background
The Lunar Eclipse Pack was started by Akira with her younger brother ruling by her side and rapidly grew to a powerful pack with the largest territory for miles. The pack's den is hidden in the heart of a volcano where lava pools warm the various caverns and fresh springs give the pack constant access to clean water. They are known for their strength and intelligence making them formidable opponents. They rely on brute strength and ambush to take down prey. They are typically heavy bodied wolves, strengthened by the treacherous mountains in their territory.
Prey options- Birds of prey, smaller birds, deer, foxes, elk
Predators- Bears, mountain lions, birds of prey
The Whispering Grass Pack is an anti war pack who is known to find peaceful solutions where their appears to be none. They are smaller wolves and one of the few packs who have learned to climb low lying trees in order to pursue small prey. They are fairly quick but not very strong. They prefer to battle with their wits instead of physical abilities. Their living space it a clearing surrounded by thorny bushes which is why they have thick coats to protect their skins.
Prey options- Rabbits, squirrels, small birds, mice, rats, deer
Predators- Bears, rattlesnakes, birds of prey
The Still Lake Pack is situated on the largest island in the lake. They have gained powerful hind legs from swimming making them great jumpers and strong fighters. They are never the first to start a fight however they will support their pack if they see the need arise. They have a dense coat which keep their skin warm and mostly dry while swimming which is kept healthy by their diet.
Prey options- mostly fish, otters, gulls, beavers
Predators- Alligators, hawks, cottonmouths
The Great Plains Pack are well known for their speed and cunning abilities. They are arrogant and are formidable fighters. They are not very large but are stronger than they may seem. Lead by Dameon, father to Akira and Leon, he is constantly in fear of his pups revealing the dark truth of their past which leads him to make foolish decisions.Their den is hidden among the many fox dens around the territory. Their den is deep underground due to their territory being the warmest in order for them to stay cool.
Prey options- Rabbits, lizards, deer, bison, cyotes, foxes
Predators- Cyotes, rattlesnakes, hawks, bears

Now for the boring part
Rules
All sylestia rules apply.
No god modding
Please PM me for any plot changes.
Fictional colors can be used but no fictional abilities (flying, poison, fire, etc.)
If you have a high rank and become absent for longer than a week without prior warning you will be demoted.
Traditions
Alphas have the final say on pack matters.
Pack members may challenge a higher rank as long as it is only one rank up.
On the night of the full moon the alphas and deltas go to the meeting place for peaceful interactions with those of the other packs. No fighting may occur.
Mates must have a marriage ceremony before requesting the rights to have a litter of pups.
Healers are unable to take on a mate and may not have pups.
Males may fight for a mated female, if the female's mate looses then a bond breaking ceremony will be performed.
When trainees have completed their training their abilities will be tested to determine if they will be a warrior or a hunter.
No pups may be killed for any reason.
Exile and execution is a rare punishment but strictly under the discretion of the alpha.
An exiled wolf may possibly join another pack but will always start as an omega until the alpha promotes them.

History:
Xena was born and raised in her pack. Her father was a Delta, but he passed a few years back, her mother was a Hunter, and she's now an Elder. Before her father was a Delta he was a fine young warrior. As you see Xena took after her father and wants to live up to her bloodline.
Bane has always thought of his life as a bland one, but he doesn't wish to harm a wolf unless needed; so he chose a Hunter's life. He believes his work might just be as dangerous as a Warrior's, mainly because the smell of fresh kill attracts bears. Bane usually doesn't panic every time there is a bear. He's large enough to hold his own against a young bear and with a group they can surely chase one away.
