I've made it to the Garden of Magnates and am doing the quest "Laid to Rest." Really I'm just wondering if there's a quicker way to go through it than hitting Explore/Retreat ten thousand times. And do you have to battle things for anything to actually show up?

I just finished that quest yesterday. You may have to actually battle to get the flowers needed. I think I did about 50+ battles total to get the 5 bunches of flowers that are needed
