This is my first time doing anything like this, so please be patient.
I came up with this idea while looking for traits to use on regennable pets. I often will come up with the traits first then try to get the colors that I like.
Since I personally think it is fun to do that, I thought that others might find it fun as well.
So, here is the basics. I, or anyone else who wants to participate, provide a 6 visible white sylesti generator image. Other players then color that image using the generator and PM their entries to the person who posted the sylesti.
For the people providing the sylestis to color.
1. The pet must be six visible.
2. The winning entry will be posted in the same post as the blank sylesti and prizes sent to the winner(s)
3. You may color one or two slots and the participants cannot change them.
4. You may 'black' out one or two color slots, and the participants can't change them, and once you get the winning design, you add the colors you want to those two slots.
5. You may also give other rules or guidelines such as 'I like blue' or 'No orange allowed'
6. If you can think of any variations that you think will be fun, go ahead. There aren't really any hard and fast rules except that the pet must be six visible.
For the people coloring the pets.
1. You cannot change any traits or the pet species. You must work with the design given.
2. If choose a pet that has colors provided or has black slots, you cannot change them.
While I would prefer to have the designs PMed to the poster, to help keep this thread organized (I am afraid of this thread potentially becoming disorganized where players are posting their colored designs while others are posting white ones to color, and they get all mixed up.) it isn't really a hard and fast rule.
For the prizes, they are whatever the person who posts the blank sylestis want, and there can be mulitple winners should that person choose.
One final note before I post the first entry: If you have any questions, please PM me, as I tend to ramble on, and I don't always tend to be as clear and concise as I wish.

With regards to the PMing the design to me, it was more to try to keep the thread 'clean' in case there were multiple challenges going on so that a challenge didn't get lost in amongst entries for another, or entries weren't lost amid challenges.
So, no worries about PMing vs posting, just do what you feel more comfortable with.

A slightly different type of contest. . . dye project! I have this nice Zolnixi with a bunch of restricted traits but some really ugly (at least in my opinion) colors. Recolor this pet as you'd like, but fewer color changes is better because I don't want to have to use 12 dyes.
Prize: 5k gold and two eggs of your choice (each egg can be substituted for 2.5k g)
