i wanted to regen him w/ mystic ribbon by null filtering the shackels first but i cant.. it says he must be regened first. now im stuck bc i cant filter w/o regening and i cant regen w/o the right mutations lol

The way it's set up, when a pet is Re-Gen'able, it cannot have any Philters used on it. So that's why you can't nullify anything.
However, in these types of situations, players can just PM me and request said Trait to be removed. As such, I went ahead and removed it for your pet.
It's just kind of a side effect to how the system was mechanically built.
