"Alright then." Eron scoops up the Vene and starts walking back into camp, Shade following behind him. He begins to look around for someone before striding over to the girl with large white antlers. Upon closer inspection, you can see she has an Aurleon friend, although they do seem a bit distracted as you approach. Eron patiently waits for her to finish whatever she is doing, which seems to be taking quite some time.

Eron thinks for a moment. "I met her quite some time ago, her egg was being tormented by Shadows. I could't just stand by and let that happen. Though.... my old partner fell to the Shadows trying to save her." His face falls for just a moment, before returning to a neutral expression. "Shade and I are trying to find him and free him, that is why we stay with the coalition." He pats Shade's head, who coos in happiness.

I follow them into the camp, keeping an eye on where Ceru goes as I do, having a distinct feeling that knowing where he is will be very important in the future.

I'd approach to see if I could help out with what she's doing.

"Oh..," I say. "Well, that is noble of you. I hope you find them and that I might be able to help." I pet Spirit's watery mane. "Mine and Spirit's backstory isn't as interesting. I bred one of my kelpari with her mother and then she was born. However, she seemed to be curious about the outside world when she was an adolescent and her curiosity grew with her. I later then decided to train her and make her my partner when it came to traveling across water."

Eron smiles as they return to camp, Ceru casually defecting to Mai as he waves them over. Lucifer follows and you catch both of the rolling their eyes as they walk over. Eron taps his spear twice on the ground, and Shade moves into a tent with indigo swirls. '"So now that you've seen what is out there? Do you feel up for a real job? I'd come with you of course, can't have one person go it alone."

Lyra follows you reluctantly, and you both encounter what seemed to be a Nytekrie. "Oh no.... That's a nasty looking Shadow!" Heachera and Scribe move forward to defend you both. "Quickly, let's free it, it doesn't deserve to this!" The Shadow gives a nasty roar before getting ready to attack.

You come across a dark figure, of what used to be a Puffadore, right outside the camp. Mai laughs. "Man how I've waited for some form of entertainment! Let's take this one down Vengence!" As he says so, Vengence leaps forward almost instantly, ready to attack the creature. Kara seems hesitant to leave your side, but reluctantly moves forward just enough for you to sense her. "Let's rumble baby!"
