Yo! Central Floridian here.

Since Florida is basically an all night party of a state, I decided to make this thread.

Feel free to share any iconic "Florida-Man" stories you see in the news and just stuff that is happening around your neighborhood, town, county, or like, your backyard chickens.

(oh and events you may go check out around the state are welcome too :D)

Hurricane Dorian

Wow, this sucks. So far all the NOAA says is that our whole state is screwed because they can't tell if its going North, West, Or South. So they just put a cone around the whole state. However most spaghetti models show it running through Central Florida and hitting to coast as a Cat 4.

Prepare for a power outage Sylestians, its definitely going to hit Florida somewhere. Get all your catas in sand before you loose your net. :D

Make sure your all stocked up too, shutters are up, windows taped, bottled water to the ceiling and maybe a battery powered fan too (it is summer....) or at least check that your generator is working properly and is ready to be fired up!

[Do keep in mind this is my opinion and I don't speak for the state of Florida, that is the governors job. Of course the governor has also issued a State of Emergency for all 67 Florida counties]

I would be lying if I said I didn't join this facebook group just for the meme. (they do however post a fair amount of memes there)
