Maylene sat on a couch in her mansion. It had been over 2 weeks since she had last seen anyone, and she would be lying if she said it didn't bother her. She had already read 2 novels today, and most of the food in her house had gone bad since she didn't have too many canned foods- stupid rich parents demanded everything fresh.

She knew she would have to leave soon, but there was part of her that still believed her parents would come back any time now to come get her and they'd all run away somewhere safe together.

"Hey Char, you holding up alright?" Leo asked the little girl he had taken in. He found her while she was walking alone, and since she didn't have anywhere to go or anyone to help her, he decided to take care of her, he didn't want the little girl to get hurt. He knew if they ever found her parents he would have to give her to them, but for now, he was her guardian

They were currently driving down an abandoned road through some woods in Leo's black truck. The bed was large enough to hold most of their more bulky supplies and had a tarp covering it so nothing would fall out. They hadn't seen any zombies for quite some time, since they weren't too close to any civilization. Part of him wanted to turn on the radio, but didn't think there were any radio shows left.

Seth | Open for Interaction
Seth marched down the middle of the road, staying away from houses on either side so nothing could grab him from the windows. He hefted his MP5, adjusted the fire selector to burst, and looked around for threats.

(Wanna have Seth try to loot Maylene's mansion so they can meet up?)

(What if she went outside and bumped into Seth as he hopped a fence to escape some zombies.)

Maylene left her home, finally giving up hope, with her backpack and her father's guns for hunting. She had a few cans of soup and some bags of candy, as well as a large bag of goldfish crackers and a first aid kit. She also had a few large water bottles full of smart water. She looked at her well barricaded walls around her mansion, no way a zombie would be able to break through, but a person could probably get over with enough skill.

She sat down on a bench in her no longer well maintained garden, ever since her staff abandoned her no one had been looking after the plants. Luckily the bugs hadn't gotten to the vegetables too badly. She grabbed a bell pepper, taking a bite out of it as if it was an apple and scraped some of the seeds into her backpack in case she would need them. She sat on a bench, hearing the moans of zombies in the distance. Possibly a horde, but she would be safe in here as long as she was quiet enough and didn't go outside.

Seth
Seth heard a crash, and looked back, to see a bunch of zombies surging toward him, and he booked it. He drew his knife as he ran, seeming to be cut off by zombies everywhere he turned, and found an alley. He ran down it, hoping it would let him out. He careened around a corner, straight into a fence. He looked back, and saw he had no way out the other way. He swarmed over the fence, and ran away from it, straight into a girl he hadn't noticed being there.
"Sorry!" he said, quickly pulling himself up.

Charlotte:

"I'm... I'm fine, a little hungry though.", She spoke, staring out the window. Charlotte's bag was in the back seat, so was the granola bars, but she only saved them for desperate situations. "I miss going to Mcdonalds.", The little girl mumbled, looking over at Leo some. Her parents would have come home for her right away on the first day; so far the thought of them alive ad devastated by her disappearance is only a distant fantasy.

Gabriel:

Gabe had boarded up the windows and doors to the Walmart, other than the back door that was made to be opened by the handle, he had broken it while getting into the store.

When finished he jumped into an abandoned cart. causing it to roll down the isle. Better have fun while it lasts. He thought.

(Should Leo, Charlotte, and Gabe meet or something?))

(they'll all meet up eventually, Leo and Charlotte will stop at where Gabe is for supplies and find him)

Leo
"Really? McDonalds of all places?" Leo scoffed jokingly. "That place is so unhealthy, that if it was still open, it would kill you quicker than the zombies" Leo joked grimly. "I preferred Wendy's" He added on. "Well, lucky for you, dinner is only about an hour away" Leo glanced at his watch. Leo had set dinner time at 5:30 every night, but sometimes he would let Charlotte steal a snack, since she was still a growing kid.

"There's a Walmart up ahead, what do you say we find some extra food there? If we find... 5 packs of food, we can have snacktime tomorrow" He promised her, pulling into the empty parking lot of a boarded up walmart. He pulled out a gun, opening the truck door, then letting his dog, Rusty, out of the back seat. Since animals were immune to the virus, he had no issue with letting Rusty attack zombies. He had one of those long leashes for the young dog that could stretch really far so the dog had really good range.

"Let m go in first, if anything goes wrong, run and stay safe" He instructed the kid. Leo slowly approached the door, Rusty sniffed it and didn't react, so it was probably safe. He attempted to push the doors open before finally having to kick it open by force. "Lets go" He said, motioning for Charlotte to follow him inside.


Maylene

Maylene yelped sharply as she fell into the ground, rolling back onto her feet quickly.

"W-Who are you, what are you doing here?" She stumbled back a bit, reaching for her rather small combat knife, and holding it in front of her protectively., though she was clearly scared. She had to admit, she was relieved to see another person, but she didn't know if this person would hurt her, so she had to be careful. Her knife shook a little in her hands, and wasn't raised all the way, showing she was unlikely to attack first.

Seth
Seth put his knife away, and said, "My apologies."
He extended his hand to help her up.

Maylene

*Uh- dont worry about it* May said, letting Seth help her stand up. *Mind if I ask what youre doing here? Not to sound rude, Ive just been on my own for a while now, and I didnt think anyone was left here* Maylene asked. *Also, whats your name?* she added onto her question
