For years, the Winged Panther has wreaked havoc on the City. Nobody knows why she came here, but she's here, and hasn't left. Nobody ever knows it's Her when they see her- the Panther remains hidden until she pounces on her prey. She's been killing for years, leaving a trail impossible to follow-

..but now, The Hunter is after her. He's tired of the constant murders, of the paranoia, of the chaos. He knows how to destroy her. He'll know when he sees Her.

But now, things are going wrong. The Winged Panther doesn't want to kill The Hunter. The Hunter doesn't want to kill the Panther. They like each other- love each other..

..Even if one must kill the other.

Elton, the hunter, was out, searching for the one he had been searching for all too long. Pantherin. She had been on a killing spree and he could seem to be able to find her. Yet. He made sure that he looked just like everyone else, that he didn't stick out like a sore thumb. He had a pistol in its holster tucked into the waistband of his jeans, fully loaded with the safety off. Just in case.

Suddenly, he gets the feeling. Its Her. Shes nearby. Nobody else senses a thing, but to him its as obvious ad day and night. Its hard to explain what he senses, exactly- only that he knows Shes close.

He slows and stops walking. He looks around, the hair on the back of his neck on end. His hand slowly moved to the pistol, trying to find where Pantherin was.

Theres a gaggle if chatty girls nearby. They look to be cosplaying some sort of fandom, though he doesnt recognize it. Theres two that stand out to him- a beautiful dark-skinned woman, dressed up as some sort of cat dragon, and a woman who isnt allowing any of her skin to be exposed to light by being dressed as a bride. The former mostly stands out because of how downright pretty she is- he wouldnt be surprised if she was a model. The latter, because that is exactly the type of thing a demon sensitive to light would wear.

He walks over to the group of girls. "Hello, ladies," he said with a smile, eyeing the one that didn't let an inch of her skin show. "What's going on?"

The cat-dragon-costumed lady smiles at him. ,, Hello. We are just dressing up for a nearby convention. ,,
The veiled lady mutters something to the cat-lady, and he just barely makes it out. ,, Why are you talking to him? Hes a total freak! ,,
The cat-lady frowns, and edges a bit away from the other.

"A freak? How so?" He asks, calmly.

,, Just look at yourself! ,, The lady retorts. ,, Your looks, for one thing! And your expression! You look like a murderer about to go on a killing spree! ,,

"My question is: how do you know what that looks like? Do you have some tragic backstory, or...?" He raised a skeptical eyebrow. He was almost certain that Pantherin was the one that didn't have any skin showing. He knew that the Winged Panther didn't like the light.
