I think its because both or one of the parents have hidden carried traits, which are hidden underneath the visible ones so that you don't know about it unless you genetically test them. If you really want to know, theres a lot of free genetic testing services around the forums, so go check that out! Hope this helps!

after looking at the parents lineage i woudn't be surprise if both had this ressessive trait, the mother's grandmother is a pb AN vulnix and the father's mother is a dyed vertion of that same themme. I can test them for you if you want but most likely what happen is that both parents have carryed/resssessive from that trait set and the offspring got the visible from there. ^-^
