All must die eventually. It is an irrefutable truth. Even the greatest of heroes must eventually be felled. But what happens after death has always been a mystery. For even those who claim to have the answers do not. And what happens with the excess, the unsatisfied spirits, the people with no place to go now their physical tether has been severed... They find themselves in the Archive of Souls. A holding area of sorts. A place to get a second chance. A labyrinth.

You are one such spirit. One way or another, you have died. Now is your chance to do something about it.

Rules:
1. I am in control. You can make choices, but ultimately it's up to me and the randomiser.
2. You can and likely will die (again).
3. Be respectful.
4. Ping me and any other players you are interacting with when you post.
5. Have common decency.
6. Mild profanity is permitted, but if someone is uncomfortable with it, shut up. (See above rule.)
7. Don't take this as a representation of my faith or lack thereof. It's just a fun little game with the odd themed or philter reward. But naturally, I won't tell you how to get them.

Required information/numbers (remove parentheses):

Name:
Spirit Gender:
Spirit Appearance:
Health: 999
Chances: 9
Sanity: 9
Item (Anything from the "real world", such as a pen, phone, baseball, watch, etc.):
Strength (Attack mod.): /20
Resolve (Defense mod.): /20
Intelligence (Escape/puzzle mod.): /20
Will (Health/sanity mod.): /20
Speed (Escape mod.): /20
Endurance (Energy per move mod.): /20
Craftsmanship (Chance of build success): /10
Luck (Non-build chance bonus): /5

You can use a maximum of 75 points in the above stats. You don't have to use them all. Certain actions will earn you more.

You don't need to eat or drink, you can't get sick, and you don't seem dead. But you can get hurt, and you can die again. Each time, you return. But you don't want to find out how many times it takes for that to no longer be the case. If you reach the center of the maze, you think, you will be free. Just as long as you aren't killed by any malevolent spirits, and you don't discover the source of the howling...

(Yes, that's fine.)

You awake to the sound of screaming. Looking around, you find yourself in a dark corridor with nothing but a cane with a small marble orb on it and your clothing. Everything is made out of stone, and there is no definite light source. As the screams die out, you look around. There is no obvious exit, and only one path. What is your first action?

When you look around, you notice that there are small bone fragmnents littered across the ground. Some are as long as your hand. A sharp piece could make a nice blade to a weapon, if you had the skills to make one. Unfortunately, you don't. Perhaps you should take one anyway?

I pick up one of the bones that looks the sturdiest and hold it in my hand. I then slip it into a small pocket in my dress.

Outside of the small alcove you are currently in, there are four paths you can take. The furthest to the left is an even darker, longer corridor, with no visible end. Beside it there is a winding path, the sharp turns obscuring the view. There is a small path to the right of that one that seems to be a dead end, but something glimmers in it. Furthest to the right, there is another twisting path. There seems to be something breathing in it, hidden in shadow. Which do you take?

I step down from the alcove and head up the third, dead end tunnel towards the item that glitters.

The glittering is a small vial of something that looks suspiciously like blood, although the poor lighting makes it difficult to confirm. Unlike most else you've seen so far, it has very little dust on it, though. Do you do anything with it, or leave it?
