Yes, that is correct. But, since the father isn't tested, there's no way to tell if he has a carried Appaloosa gene hidden. I assume that he does, though. Because both parent carry the Appaloosa, it takes presidency over Savannah because only one parent has it, if that makes sense. :p

I had a similar issue with my ligs too. Altho I think my issue was that b4 ligs most pets I had were generated or bought from other players. If a pet is bought from other players, those other players usually got the parents for breeding purposes, so of course the pet will have the genes the players want and by breeding the offspring, which of course most ppl buy pets with traits they desire, so you won't have this issue as much with ur offspring from ur pets. But when ligs came out very few were generated, due to the rareness of the essence. The same is happening with ryos now of course. But getting back on top since most r captured ur more likely to find a lig that has hidden traits.

Think of it like this, bk to the whole recessive gene thing. The first pair: Bob and Mary, Bob has A, Mary has B. Baby will have Ab (b signifies recessive). Because the way the parents breed is controlled b can be bred out of the family line, or A. Say someone knows the baby carries b, and wants b. If they continue to mate the baby and its offspring with others carrying or showing B, then the following offspring will continue to only show/carry B, until someone brings a new trait like:C in, but since pets r bought for their genes this is highly unlikely, and is why when u breed a pet with someone else's pet it comes out with the g/m that u desire. I've even had cases where both parents were showing something different, for example mom has A and dad had C, but the baby came out with B, this happened with my zolnixis, although I thought the design was lovely so I didn't care.

I just want to point out that visible traits will display as AA, BB, CC, etc is there is no carried trait in the same spot. :p Other than that, you got it! :) You're very welcome I'm glad to have been able to help. :D

Oh lordy, maybe Lighiras are broken then because she is clearly displaying Savannah in slot 1, but her code is

gd1=BF&gd2=NN&gd3=NN&md1=NN&md2=NN&md3=NN

and by what you say, her code should be

gd1=BB&gd2=NN&gd3=NN&md1=NN&md2=NN&md3=NN

I think?

No, no, no, no, no. XD I'm sorry. lol BF means what you originally said. She shows Savannah and carries Appaloosa. What I meant was that if she did not carry Appaloosa, and only showed Savannah, her code would have been BB, not BN.

Aaaah, thanks yet again, I thought I was going insane! LOL How on earth did you figure all this out?? You are super genius, Edibbs!! :-p

Ok I think I grasp this fully now, and my poor brain feels like I just sat through a 5 hour genetics lecture in graduate school or something >_< But I get it....
