Why do some sylesti have green stars while others don't? Are they rare?

The green stars are umcommon sylestis that have a carried trait. White stars are common with no traits, blue are rare with either one visable trait or two carried traits, purple is epic with either four carried traits or two visable traits or a combination of one visable trait with two carried traits, and I believe the last one is gold meaning legenary which most likely has three visable or six carried, enhansed stats, and can only be caught with a master trap.
