So the exceptional test kit is automatically used when eggs hatch?
Either that or I have a really bad memory lol - but I remember breeding too many eggs and I was too lazy to test em all... and they all hatched today and had seemingly been tested.
So do I have a bad memory, or is this a thing?

Krin made it I think last year? that so long as you a) have infinite test kit, and b) manually hatch the egg, it auto-tests them, yes.
If you leave the egg to hatch alone via time it doesn't get tested automatically
