I don't think anyone would leave the game over an offer they deemed low. I just meant that they may just disregard you/your offer. It's really the worst they can do, is say no. I've never seen someone leave over an offer they didn't like.

I tend to ask for offers, as well, due to the constant fluctuation in prices/perceived ideas of worth. So when people give one, I tend to assume that's what they deem the item to be worth to them. Sometimes I clarify, but not as often as I used to.

Just remember, the worst outcome of a negotiation in a game like this is that the person says no. If you have anxiety over offering, or feel they might dismiss you outright if they think it too low (and I completely get this) it's okay to take a few moments to look at previous threads/offers/etc and just look at where things have sold before and figure out what you're personally comfortable offering. You're never guaranteed that they'll accept your offer, but at least then you're guaranteed that you won't end up regretting it.

No, literally, I'm afraid of people saying "no" to my offer. No idea why... I probably just have people-phobia XD I actually think 99% of my friends are via online communication...

Sounds like anxiety.

If nothing else, at least in situations like festivals (concerning seeds, etc) you're almost guaranteed that people will, at some point, set a price for the seed/other item. Then you'll know exactly what they're looking for. Sometimes it can be a bit of a wait, though.

I actually asked in the battle thing, someone said 2m
then you said "i sold one for 5.5m" and then ... yeah, that happened.

(i probably do have anxiety)

I have sold 2-3 for the 5-5.5 mill range, but that was what I got offered. It didn't mean I wouldn't look at anything else. I'm sorry if I didn't clarify well enough on the ranges I'd sold for vs what I'd seen sell.

At that point I'd not personally seen any sell for 2m (which isn't to say it didn't happen) and I wouldn't have likely sold that low, but I'd have been happy to find a place somewhere in the middle. At worst, I would have continued to take offers. This fest I haven't had to take offers beyond the first on most of my sv seeds, because people were snapping them up quickly with high offers.
