dont judge a movie by it's fan interpretation. I thought it was good! The emotion is still there just expressed differently through dialogue and body language. TBH the only reason it's in a bad light is because of popular people and critics saying 'ew bad'

Ah, okay. Well, that's what my friend said. I do spend a lot of time watching anime (but they actually display emotion and express emotion through dialogue). Then again, I can't judge something until I've seen it ;)

There's also the people who don't like Disney making live actions of their original animated movies, because "they're being lazy" and "can't come up with new plot" or whatever.

well maybe that is the case, i liked the new ones and the interpretations but Mulan is where i draw the line int he sand purely cause theyre not putting Mushu in
