She chuckles. "SO how'd you get roped into this crap? it's obvious you'd rather not be."

"Yea, you've got that right. Well -" he paused, and slouched in his seat. "My dad's the Trapper, and he, um, has certain opinions for my future..."

"So," Lazi hissed looking at the pair as she tried to shoot down the conversation "You want to play or not? Or should I just deliver Sajati to Trapper, as you call him," She smiled with amusement.

Ace smiled grimly and held Amiera as he wrapped his arms around his waist "Amiera?" What do you think we should do?

Amiera hums in mock thought as she leans back against Ace. "I say we play." That way there's at least a chance of Nova and Owen getting to Sajati before Trapper.

"Okay well here are the rules, no killing, no knocking out ec. If I win I get Sajati if you win you get Sajati, sound fair?"

"We are playing a game. With someone's? fate on the line. Without their consent. That doesn't sound too... I have a feeling this game... How in the world did I get into this?" Asher plopped his head on the table.
"Ow." ... "I'm okay."

Lazi smiled "You didn't get the message did you?'' She asked pulling out a silky envelope and handed it to Asher. The envolope was a light blue with white sparkling letters that said in neat handwriting To Asher.
"Read it," Lazi said with a smile and she turned back to Amiera "Is a yes or no?"

"Were you seriously holding this from me? I trust you that much more." He said sarcastically, opening the note hesitantly.

A blue knife slipped of the envelope and landed on the table. The note was a light blue color like the envelope and the words where written in the sparky white writing like on the envelope. It said:
Dear Asher,
It is me your father! I got this beautiful knife for you, hope you like it. I have a job for you, this fox escaped and we need it dearly, to get paid. She is to weak right now to be able to shift into her human form. What do we need her for your probably asking, well she is valuable, being one of the last of her kind. Well we need to be able to breed more, you know, to sell. Sadly the scientists want her more then I do so I'm giving her to them, for a price of course. Please don't disappoint me, this is our dream after all!

Okay, okay. I'll get you the freaking fox person. And not because you got me a blue knife, blue being my favorite color. He rolls his eyes, and sighs, holding up the knife to inspect it. What in the world does dad expect me to use this for anyways? He shrugs, puts the note and knife back into the envelope, and then tucking that away into his pocket. "Yep, of course Dad. Wouldn't think of failing you. Yet."
