I've recently started a sale, but now that it's ended, what do I do?

Am I meant to shut it down, leave it there or something?

I tend to edit my thread post by striking the information through [str command] or I edit the post explaining that the sale is ended

then I just leave the thread be, and within a few days it disappears.
