I think there should be an official auction house instead o the forum so you can search or exactly what you are looking for. more like the search bar you use to search for players and pets

I think they meant for selling/breeding your pets. Currently you have to dig through a forum, and it's a bit... Well, messy. Do you know how hard it is to actually find a Draeyl?

If what is meant is pets... then that's literally what the Advanced Search is for?
If you're looking for a draeyl, you select draeyl as the species. If you're looking for pets for sale, you select "for sale: yes", if you're looking for pets with x, y, or z trait, you select them.
Is it the how-to-use-it that's the issue here?

Perhaps the suggestion is an actual auction house that works similarly to the advanced search, but instead of pets for a specific buy out price, it's pets that are up for a certain number of days and goes to the highest bidder?
I'm not sure how I'd feel about this, personally, as I think it would end up being like the eggling auctions (or ebay), with snipers waiting for the last second to bid on very popular pets. At least with forum auctions you can implement snipe guards... but.... it would enable auctions to end at their intended time and not need the selling player to be around as, ideally, the system would just exchange gold for pet at the end of the auction. So, I can see pros and cons to this.
Anyway, if this is the actual suggestion, I think it would be most easily implemented as another option to sale price on the pet's profile. Then, on advanced search, there would be a third option under 'for sale': yes, no, auction.

Ah, I was thinking the same thing but wasn't sure how to word it. As for snipe guards, maybe a system close to this? From an auction site I use:
Bid Time Extension
What is Bid Time Extension?
Bid Time Extension is a useful tool to keep people from being able to "snipe" an auction. It automatically extends the close time of an auction if a bid is placed within a certain time of the scheduled auction close time. For example, if the Bid Time Extension is set to 15 minutes and a person places a bid 5 minutes before the auction is scheduled to close, the auction close time will be reset to 15 minutes after the last bid placed. This allows bidders to fairly compete at the end of an auction without having to worry about last-minute "sniping".
