You can already exchange gold and diamonds with other players at the currency exchange

In response to this added line: "and some players might have unfair trades up", given that the average gold to diamond conversion on the exchange is about 2,000 gold per diamond, your example would actually be the massively unfair trade ^.^;

Also, just like I said on another similar suggestion not long ago: if no one buys diamonds for real money, this site will not exist for long. If *no one* had to buy the diamonds for them to exist, there would be no revenue stream for the game, and it would close (as far as I understand it, this game is Krinadon's and Faiona's primary revenue stream, so they have to live off of the sales of diamonds, pay the artists that make all the graphics out of those same sales, and pay for the upkeep of the site from those sales as well). This being the case, having the exchange at all, where people basically buy gold by purchasing diamonds and selling them to others for gold (which is relatively easy to get if you don't mind working for it a little) is actually a really nice middle ground given by the creators.
