I doodle a lot~ and sketch a lot. It's a great form of stress relief~especially at work and it's also fun. :) I'd like to share my sketches/doodles here (maybe even finished pieces if I actually finish things :O)~ so I hope you like themas much as I do, even if they're not finished/polished pieces. I mostly draw creatures but sometimes do sketch/doodle humanoids as well. You're free to critique if you really want to, but I'm worried less about overall anatomy/nitpickings with these since they're just for fun. :)

To start this off, here's a quick sketch I did while I was at work waiting for a ride today. I really wanted to draw an old character of mine~ This is Slumber, the Cloud Serpent/Dragon. It's not great, but I like how it came out anyway. :)

I really like how the clouds merge beautifully with the dragon, really giving an effect of the clouds being a mane and tail. I also like the outer rib cage design :)

I sat down and watched a National Geographic with my uncle~ I believe it was called "Flying Monsters". Pretty much the beginning and evolution of the Pterodactyl/Flying Dinosaur's~ I did my best to memorize the anatomy as I watched it~ and although I'm pretty sure I didn't get it spot on, I'm still pretty happy with what I sketched up at work without having to grab my phone for a reference~

Totally ran out of mech pencil lead too, so I ended up using a fine point sharpie pen to do some silhouette sketches for form practice.



And something I finished a few weeks ago but just haven't posted yet.

wow Eim, I really like those last two Silhouettes, the Ry and the winged one. The winged one reminds me of Gargoyles lol

Thanks you~Those are the two I like best as well~ they were the last ones that I got in there~ was feeling more comfortable with the exercise by then. xD And those wings are just how I draw the Wings of the Auroral Eclipse. I like them thin and wispy~ :D
