(This is the story of our campaign told from the view of the young elven ranger and his book of doodles.)

It begins with character introductions as all good stories should.

Dexion, a tiny baby elf ranger that acts the part.

Our Shardmine Elokai who is sadly no longer with us. He sacrificed himself to save the whole party. He will be missed.

The Dwarven Crusader with his bleeding armor that he got from a demon lord. He carries our cool fur banner.

So yeah the hippy Druid. Called Mr. Druid because we don't know his name.

Sneaky little goblins...

Our elf Wizard Dori. She's so forgetful she doesn't remember she is a wizard at times.

She has a mummy lord named Richie.

Our NPC Cleric.

So this one has a story. Dexion didn't pass his wisdom check (he's not the smartest cookie) and now sees the stone golem that accompanies the party's NPC cleric (Allanna) as a mute grandpa that can somehow defeat giant threats all his own. His weapon of choice is a rolled up newspaper or the tea cup he carries around all the time.

"That's Captian Reynolds to you." He has a fleshraker dinosaur named Kaylee.

Again story time: Phandral (its spelled wrong up there) is a badass necromancer we work with/for. He's one of the generals for the demon lord we work for. As for his second name 'Wheelbarrow Dude' that came about because 1.) we used a Monopoly wheelbarrow token as his mini figure 2.) and Dexion just assumed that he picked up the dead bodies he created with a wheelbarrow (it didn't have anything to do with the fact he couldn't say the guy's name).

*Finally. Story time! Crow and Dexion are more than just boyfriends at this point yet Dexion doesn't know that just yet (memory wipe, but that's a story for later). Dexion's entire mission is to try and find Crow, since he's the man he loves. Throughout the story he sends messages to Phandral who helps him find Crow. Yes Dexion is gay....

Story time! This happened when the Skaven (Ratmen) we were fighting decided they needed Ratmen Trolls! They appeared after a large fight with a bunch of smaller Ratmen forces. Thanks to Captain Mal's fleshraker, Kaylee we managed to kill both with just ability damage.

These things...they sucked. Four armed snakes with a 25% chance to respawn once killed. They were telepathic and their venom did strength damage. We won again with Kaylee and Captain Mal.

So throughout the campaign Dexion has been seeing this little snakes. They talk to him at times or just smile at him before disappearing. Turns out it's because of his ancestry though we aren't sure just how yet. Now he has a sash the is in the shape of a snake the guides him as need be.

This one was just a fun doodle. At night the rangers tag team and Dexion helps keep watch so the others can sleep. This particular night he talked to an owl.

More to come later! If this does well that is.

In continuation... Story time! This is Doggo, Dexion's animal companion. So the DM allowed me to take on the pet of a player that ended up leaving us. It worked with her back story so he let her have it. But she ended up quitting on us so I got the page handed down to me. Doggo started off as a puppy and now he's a huge creature with more skills and abilities than my own character. Dexion doesn't care though, in his mind he is a still a cute little puppy.

Aw this one. Dexion hates spiders, least the big scary ones. We had just solved a puzzle room when we found a trident. There was a note on it that said 'Do not throw'. So naturally he threw it. Little did we know at the time it was a seeking trident. So I was asked the last think I thought of which happened to be our Druid (who we didn't know at the time was in trouble, since he had stupidly split the party). This trident ended up bouncing off the walls down deeper into this dungeon before skewering one of the demonic spiders (can't recall the name of them) and eventually coming to rest in one of the cocoons. At that point we ended up fighting just the one spider and saving the stupid Druid. Let's just say the DM wasn't too happy we killed one of his monsters that easily.

So this happened. Dexion died. Like dead died. The rangers and the Druid went off to scout and we got ambushed by the enemy Kythons. The Druid died in the surprise round and Dexion wasn't doing well after that. So I was given a golden acorn to try and save the Druid with but died trying to get to him. So this was what it led to. From the beginning of the game Dexion had gotten a mark on the back of his neck. When he died a beam of light resurrected him and he turned into a angelic elf (celestial elf). Now he had wings (that he had no clue how to use) and a halo along with a few other powers he doesn't know how to use.

Back to the sneks! Dexion leveled up and I wanted to get another animal companion. So I asked the DM if the ancestors that had sent the snakes that talked to him could answer the call. So they sent these. There are two of them, Pancake and Noodle. They are Coualts who were sent to watch over the little elven ranger.

These little buttholes... So the DM thought it would be fun for us to fight the flood from Halo. He wanted to infect one of us but his plan failed and we showed him! Everyone lived!

This was the Hive Mind of the flood. So Dexion and Doggo saved their will save and didn't get teleported to the boss. We had to fight our way through the door (that was covered in tentacles) to the room with the boss. By the time we got there Dexion was riding on top of Doggo's head. Doggo charged in, Dexion did a sweet backflip while shooting and killed the boss. He then proceeded to throw down his bow and dab. It was amazing.

With the flood defeated we all headed back out to find that the rescue team we had sent for had arrived. Most of the people in the team were undead so they had a camp pretty much built for us when we got back to the surface. We were ushered to the war tent where a orc named Doomhammer, and a mysterious General (?) were standing over a map. Dexion didn't know at the time that the other was Crow, his husband he had been looking for this whole time. Dexion was told to stay back this reuniting with his long lost love. And boy had it been a long time. Since Dexion is a reoccurring character of mine (didn't think the two D&D groups I was in would ever get together and play a game as one big group) we decided to tie both stories together. This one just happens to take place 300 years after the other. Due to some horrible event (not sure on what yet) Dexion lost all his memories (and experience) before ending up in this land alone and unsure what he was doing. He remembered everything up to him searching for Crow the first time they got separated. Now for a bit on Crow. Crow used to be a prince named Dorian before he ran away from home to follow after Dexion. Angered by his son's betrayal and gayness Crow's father sent an assassin out to bring his son home. This assassin was to turn Crow into a mindless undead to follow his father's rule in an attempt to get what he wanted. That plan backfired when my other character Lilith (a barbarian NPC who once was a badger) killed the assassin and freed Crow. So in retaliation the prince changed his name to Crow and accepted his fate as a spawn of the night. That's why he lived so long. And that's all I have for this time. Stay tuned for the next little bit!
