After a huge fight that destroyed most of Paris, the citizens were shocked to find that all the damaged was fixed instantaneously, with strange, bug-like magic fixing everything in a large swarm. All the work was credited to 5 heroes, who stopped a fleet of unknown mystery villains.

Unknown to the public, the surge of magic and chaos during that night, the miraculous ended up scattered around the city of Paris, their fates completely up to chance as to who found them. The previous heroes had retired, and it seemed as if the villains had too.

It's the first day of freshman year, and four kids have come across some free jewelry on the streets

Bio: She had an unfortunate childhood. Her dad was Chinese and her mother Polish, and the two met while her mother was living in China. After falling in love young and a little too quickly and eloped somewhere in Poland. After the couple had their second kid, the couple's fights became more and more horrible until her father finally left without a trace one night. Her mother was devastated, and a year later, fell horribly ill. Her mother is currently in the hospital in bad condition, and Tesia and her older sister Liena are living with her aunt in Paris until their mom recovers. Her aunt and uncle are fairly rich and popular French movie-stars, so adapting to life in Paris (plus having to learn french) is difficult for the two.

Ciel lives in a huge mansion with his older brother. Their parents are crazy rich, but they don't bother to be home since they're practically on vacation 24/7. So, for the most part, he's kinda alone. His brother is a famous model, and then he just likes to draw. His brother tries to convince him to do some shoots with him, but Ciel doesn't really want that life. He wants to be normal. Drawing is something that calms him, and he's quite good at it. It's funny, because he isn't a quiet and calm person either. He's reckless a lot of times, and pretty defiant. He's known for trouble.

Juniper is a 'normal' girl living in Paris with her grandparents, after her parents both died due to a tragic vacation accident (they both stepped too close to an edge of a cliff). Despite this, Juniper tries to make the best of everything and enjoys the company of her grandparents, Darcey and Tom. Her family is in the middle class, staying in a two bedroom flat.
