The last sentence he said hurt her a little bit.. not because of how he said it but because she felt so much guilt over it all.. she felt horrible about how she ran into danger, how she didn't just shove Sawyer down.. She felt as though all of it was in some way her fault. She went silent and just hugged him a bit tighter, tears rolling down her cheeks.

Raven though still blamed herself, and she would blame herself for a very long time because she convinced herself it was her fault.. and at times, she didn't even know why Ash stayed with her since she was so horrible for doing such a thing. She tried not to cry over it.. but she couldn't help it. She felt oh so much guilt..

Ash was convinced that if he had never moved here, Raven would still be okay, nothing bad would've happened other than getting her heart broken because Sawyer was an utter and complete jerk.Once she started to cry, he just felt even worse
