I stand in front of a Human. "ME! MEEEEE! LOOK DOWN HEEEEREEEE!" I shout "OH FINALLY GOT YOUR ATTENTION..." I scamper out of the house and sing, "Who has seen the wiiiind..." I search for Tiger, my partner of search. Tiger is sipping water from a pond. "Somewhere over the rain-bow... way up- high..." He sings... "Oh, Hi Leopard." "Tiger you know your job." I say, frustrated "Do not run AWAY!"

We search for more Ferrikkis. A squeaky voice- A ferrikki's- sings "She sees them walkin' in a straight line... That not really her style" I turn. "CHIPMUNK!" Chipmunk hisses, "Leopard, why do you smell of 'Hooman...'" "Har, Har, I just wanna make friends Har de Har..." Chipmunk hisses in distaste as he does an imitation of me. Another Ferrikki Leaps onto Chipmunk, biting and scratching. "Calico, off." I roar. Calico stops attacking and gazes at me.

"griffis are our only enemy so far, watch out for them." I huff

At that second 4 Griffis emerge from some bushes.
"says who, hon?" The first Griffi, named David Earning says.
The second Griffi, named Arnold Earning, snickers... ... Only to get 'Shushed' by the Third Griffi, named Alot Brand. The last Griffi, named Freddy Derp.

Next they beat off the Griffis... I wasn't able to make it sooner because my computer broke

As if on cue, Arnold, Alot, and Freddy pounce. Tiger screeches "Mr. A. Earning, You are goin down!" Tiger morphs into a Siberian Tiger. He swings his large paw and hits the gem in the middle of Arnold's helmet. It shatters into a million pieces, Raining, raining, raining, down. Chipmunk snorts in distaste at Alot. he charges, and Chipmunk becomes... a CHIPMUNK! Alot gets his paw stuck in thicket and- SNAP!- He stumbles back, shattering his gems. Calico made Freddy flee. Just David and I remain. He scratches at my eyes, I kick his beak. He falls back. Blood now blurs my vision, but I continue anyway. I charge and latch onto David's beak and then- BITE BITE SCRATCH SCRATCH TEAR TEAR- I attack his face. He screeches and falls, I let go, he hits my face with a giant paw in midair. I rocket to earth, everything goes black.

Then we are helped by some kind, kind cats. One named Fu man chu takes us into the woods. Another cat, much, much, Smaller, Younger, and skinnier looks at us. She is Tar-black and shadow grey with glowing amber eyes. Her name is Night-Seeker but she goes by Night or Seeker.
