I was just wondering what the difference was between the lovely mutator and the Trait Disruptor (Angelic Puffadore) since I was reading the descriptions in the diamond shop and it seems like the lovely mutator does the exact same thing as the mutator but you can pick which trait you get? I'm not sure if I interpreted that correctly though

Lovely Mutator is a Mutator, and follows Mutator rules, Trait Disruptor (Angelic Puffadore) is a Restricted Disruptor and Follows Restricted Disruptor rules.


Lovely Mutator:

- adds a trait to a pet (adds TP to the pet's TP count, so a pet with 4TP becomes a 6TP pet)

- only a single Mutator of any sort can be used on a pet, ever.

- Lovely Mutator can be used to give a pet either Valentines lace gene (any species) or Lovely heats mutation (on the species that have it as an option, eg, luffox, puffadore) so long as the trait slot is empty (no vis or carried trait in that slot).

- The pet it is used on must be a Tamed pet (caught/obtained from the wild, or bought from the Scale Shop, Ny'vene shop, or Puffadore shop)

- if you use a Themed Disruptor it will lose the trait (replaced with a non-restricted) but still be counted as a Mutated pet- you cannot use another mutator on it.


Trait Disruptor (Angelic Puffadore):

- can only be used on Puffadore species

- can be used on any pet not made via the Generator

- the pet must have at least one visible non-restricted trait that the Disruptor will 'replace' (the pet will lose this trait for a random trait from the disruptor's set)

- at least one of the trait slots of the Disruptor's set must either have either a non-restricted visible trait or nothing in (it cannot overwrite Restricted traits or Carried traits)

- the pet cannot already have a trait of the disruptor's set in its genetics

- does not change a pet's TP count. A 4TP pet will remain a 4TP pet.


And just to add on
Trait Disruptor [All Species - Valentine Lace] follows the same rules as the other Disruptors, it just can only add Val.Lace rather than randomly picking from a set of traits.
