You could totally have some of those custom traits be made into real ones next time they have a thread open for trait designs. They do them I think a couple times a year, I cant remember.

A dress I wanted to paint for my avatar. I haven't done clothes in a long, long time, so I'm kind of having trouble getting back into it. Still fun though!
