Furnace Penitentiary, in the distant future, is the worlds most secure prison for young offenders. It is buried a mile beneath the Earths surface. One way in and no way out. He knows how to fight, and once was put in solitary after a fight with some gang members. He is one of the few people who has unrestricted access to the Furnace gym. While inmates make room for him and respect his reputation, Donovan does not try to go out to cause trouble and seems now that he avoids picking fights.
