When I breed two purebloods together I get a pureblood but some say it isn't a pure blood because of it's colors why is that? My explamples are below.

This is because the purebred tag doesn't take dye use into account. For a pet to be considered a purebred themed by the larger community, a pet must be both descended fully from original (gold starred) themes of the same type *and* maintain the original colour palette of that theme. In the case of those Emperor Dragon Zolnixis, to be seen as true purebred Emperor Dragons by most people, they would need to both have the purebred tag (blue star) and be these colours:

The nixis you have, unfortunately, are descended from radically dyed offspring of the theme, rather than purebred, true colour palette offspring. So while they have the tag.... they just aren't 'themed' as the name means, and as most player use it (since 'themed' on this site means sticking to a particular colour scheme that defines that particular theme).

Not sure how clear that all is? This is a relatively new issue since purebred tags are very new. Before this, to know if a sylesti was a purebred you'd look *first* at the colour palette, *then* at the lineage to make sure all parents went back to a gold starred parent of the same colours.

Because they don't have the original theme colours- somewhere along the line, one or more of their ancestors was dyed to have a different set of colours.

Dyeing, at this point in time, does nothing to a pet's PB status, or the PB status of their offspring, so you do get this happening.

If they don't have the original theme's colours, then they aren't the theme.

Those traits belong to two themes, Emperor's Dragon, which looks like this:

and Wooden Twilight
