I've been circling the Lost Grove for a while (long enough to nearly be done with Stage 2). Here's the materials I've collected so far:

Are Mender's Talismans supposed to be this rare? I have more Battle Trinkets (a purple rarity material) than I do Mender's Talismans (a blue rarity material). And even though I battled plenty of menders yesterday, I don't think any of them dropped this material. Which leaves me to wonder if I can only get Mender's Talismans from chests?

You can get mender's talismans from battling menders. It only has a chance at dropping, though, so it isn't guaranteed.
