Suddenly, Shara wailed, and cried, "I'm sorry, Mother! I didn't mean to hurt you!"

Out of nowhere, a feminine voice said, "I forgive you, Shara."
The glowing form of a female fox formed, her arms around Shara.

"Mother?"

"Yes, my gem. I'm here. I will always be here for you."

Shara's sobs suddenly stopped, and she hugged the figure back.

Myra let go and backed up, confused but not wanting to break the moment. Suddenly, she blinked, realizing what happened. Or, at least, she had an idea.

(The anthro Shara killed. That was her mom, right?)
