Cobalt flexed his jaws, trying to snap the muzzle without activating the electric collar. There was only a few other ways he could think of to get it off, but they were all painful.

Cobalt, ears still covered, snarled at BO, quieted by the muzzle.

He huffs, blocking out the song so it becomes a muffle in the back of his head as he tries to sleep. He can't stay still, having to twitch constantly and his eyes begin darting around the cage, anxious to get out.

A scientist entered the cage behind Cobalt, wearing ear protectors. Holding the end of a metal leash, they snapped it to his collar, causing Cobalt to snap his head up, alerted. Dragging him slowly into the metal room again, he whined loudly.

He watched Cobalt being dragged out, tilting his head in confusion. What's so special about him? Why is he always getting dragged out?

The scientist hoisted Cobalt onto the table, latching him down with solid metal braces on his side. Removing his collar and muzzle, they dropped them into a bin and came back to him, holding a needle containing some sort of blue liquid.
